Classic Golf Tour of England - golfing vacations

Day 1
Arrival England and met by Executive Golf tour director and transfer by luxury coach to the excellent Berystede Hotel in Ascot for 5 nights. Evening cocktail party and tour briefing. Dinner.

Day 2
Play Sunningdale, one of England's finest of private clubs. Non golfers visit Windsor Castle with shopping in the historic town of Windsor.

Day 3
Golfers play Wentworth's West Course, the famous Burma Road and host to many golfing events, including the World Matchplay Championship, the Ryder Cup and the PGA Championship. Non golfers visit Hampton Court, the historic palace built in 1514 and was to become Henry V111's favourite country home on the River Thames.

Day 4
Sightseeing and shopping in London. Golf if required and arranged at Stockley Park, the first course that was designed and built by Robert Trent Jones Snr. in England.

Day 5
Play the Walton Heath Course, an excellent test of golf on a course built by James Braid (6 times Open Champion) and the host for the Ryder Cup, the European Open and many top events. Non golfers visit Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey where the Queen's Coronation took place.

Day 6
Transfer to Stocks Hotel, a Georgian Mansion nestling at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. Play golf on the best kept secret in the country, The Stocks Golf Course. Cocktails with 3 course barbecue on the lawns at Stocks.

Day 7
Sightseeing tour of the English countryside with a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of Shakespeare and Ann Hathaway's cottage.

Day 8
Golf at Woburn Golf and Country Club, a real classic English venue. The golf course has been host to the Dunlop Masters, the Benson & Hedges Championship and is currently where the Ladies Open is held. Non golfers visit Woburn, one of the most famous stately homes of England with shopping available in a typical English village
