Scotland's Hidden Gems
If your inclinations are on a lower level than playing the championship courses, The Highlands offer a quieter but equally pleasurable prospect. Apart from the exhilarating air, possibly not unconnected with the fact that you are in the vicinity of where Scotland’s most enjoyable export is distilled, the courses are on a par with any in the world and the scenery is unparalleled.
Day 1
Arrival in Scotland. Met by tour manager and transfer to Nairn in the North of Scotland for 2 nights. Dinner.
Day 2
Play Nairn, one of the great championship courses. Non-golfers visit the historic town of Inverness.
Day 3
Transfer to Dornoch for 3 nights. Golfers play one of the finest of Britain's courses, Royal Dornoch, a favourite of Tom Watson. Non-golfers have a choice of sightseeing or shopping.
Day 4
We play a second round at Royal Dornoch. It's superb natural links and backdrop of mountains and views of Dornoch Firth make it a magnificent day even if your golf has let you down!
Day 5
Golf today is at Golspie which dates back to the 1880's. Afternoon we play Brora, it is a stunning course with the sea being ever present. Non-golfers vist the scenic fishing villagesand places of interest, eg distillery & historical sites.
Day 6
Play Tain, another links course resembling St. Andrews and another great test of golf. P.M.. Transfer to Inverness for our last night. Kingsmill Hotel.
Day 7
Depart Scotland or try our add on tours to London.
